Welcome back!
Things are definitely a bit better, even if the high level status looks worse.
But there are still imho two severe problems needing fixing for this release.

- longstanding pthread problem fixed by Tony -- Darwin hangs fixed
fix ported to release (head has further diverged)

- Win32 threading/gui still has a problem (Juno crashing, worse than its usual assertion failure
due to incomplete Trestle)
date the problem started identified (around Feb 20 2009, but more precise information is known)

- approx date the Solaris formsedit problem started identified
unfortunately it was the switch from userthreads to pthreads (approx Jan 20 2007, probably 23)
Tony looking at it.

- Solaris tests or hudson were hung somewhere, I couldn't figure out what was running (seemingly nothing), rebooted the machine

- Solaris not liking date +%s in pkgmap.sh I checked in a fix but messed up, that's the red in Tinderbox, testing now

- I commited .msi building on release, I think it'll work, based on the console output, but waiting for an RC4 download to test.
still should do .deb building

- Usysdep reduction, only in head, not for this release
Though there seems to have been
> lots of activity during my absence, the current status is worse
> than when I left:
>
> o tinderbox status is comletely red
> o Hudson builds fail due to syntax errors
> o no tickets have been closed or even changed
>
> Does anybody care to fix?
