Debian packages are pretty simple/portable and /might/ make sense for any target.<BR>
They are just a .tar.gz or tar.bz2 or .tar.lzma with a tiny bit of textual metadata, wrapped up in an ar file.<BR>
You know, they are nearly the same as our portable packages.<BR>
If people disagree, we can check for "LINUX" in the target.<BR>
