Tony, is it deliberate in m3front/src/misc/cg.m3 procedure compare<BR>that we are often asked to compare different types, even<BR>different signedness?<BR>It seems a little unusual.<BR> <BR>I think it really might help to extend TInt to 9 or more bytes<BR>so that any pair of values we "really" encounter can be extended<BR>to a common type/precision.<BR> <BR> - Jay<BR><BR>                                         </body>
