Tony, is it deliberate in m3front/src/misc/cg.m3 procedure compare<BR>
that we are often asked to compare different types, even<BR>
different signedness?<BR>
It seems a little unusual.<BR>

I think it really might help to extend TInt to 9 or more bytes<BR>
so that any pair of values we "really" encounter can be extended<BR>
to a common type/precision.<BR>
