Log message:
	have cm3 treat some Quake variables and environment variables
	as "user input" to be interpreted "loosely"
	That is, to SOME extent, translate between Win32 and Posix paths.
	
	this includes some upward dependency from m3quake to cm3
	really M3Path should be moved to m3quake and renamed QPath,
	or maybe pushed further down, but this will do for now
