quake has been extended by some dozens of functions; many of these
are based on M3 functions implemented in sysutils. See the quake
language spec for details

As many of the new quake functions can be used to overcome platform
differences, especially when writing test code, I think the addition
is justified.

I seem to have forgotten to add sysutils to the boot scripts, too.
