I need to get cminstall working somehow for the regression tests.
This seems to be the easiest workaround. If someone provides a
different installer or an appropriate scripts integration, this
can be removed. Until then, please don't :-)

The bigger maintenance problem is doing it differently for some
target platforms :-/
