	Revert wrong `fix' for endless recursion: it does not work as I expected,
	but breaks catching runtime errors.
	
	Revision 1.3 should never have been committed in the first time, as
	it was only a work-around for a temporary problem while porting
	PTHREADS to FreeBSD.
