[M3commit] CVS Update: cm3

This was probably fine. I had a failure on a machine but that was possibly some uncommited version. I also had some version go through ok on LINUXLIBC6 and some version on AMD64_DARWIN so the approach is ok.
To be certain I reverted it for now.
Will probably back something within 24 hours.
I'll maybe test SOLgnu and PPC_DARWIN as well.
