Log message:
	have m3_backend use m3cgcat and compile_c
	and reuse existing builder mode ExternalObject (2)
	but this is less efficient than calling M3C directly w/o
	going through M3CG_BinWr/Rd/m3cgcat
	
	Actually switch PPC_DARWIN to C backend.
	In case anyone else wants to try it, to debug it.
	It certainly doesn't work yet!
	
	Eventually, if we stick with this model (hopefully not),
	this m3_backend should move to a common place, e.g. BackendC.common
	or cm3cfg.common triggered by a global boolean BACKEND_GENERATES_C
	or USE_C_BACKEND..
