I have subscribed you to this list and hope that you undestand this.
The failure you see is probably due to fundamental changes in the
compiler since the last release (addition of 64 bit integers and
changes in the garbage collector and threads runtime) which
makes a more complex upgrade necessary. Current boot/installation
archives for all platforms are overdue; I'm currently trying to
build the one for FreeBSD on my home computer. I think we could get
something more up-to-date and easier to install for Linux, Solaris,
and Darwin within the next week(s).

PS: If you send bug reports to the list, you should always add the
exact system and environment you are using (uname -a, which archives
did you use, what were the exact commands you issed that led to the
failure).
