Looks like you have a strangely configured X11 subsystem. Look at how
libXaw (the one cminstall is actually looking for) is not visible in /
usr/lib.So you seem to be telling me that the problem is that a symbolic link libXaw->libXaw7.so.7 is missing, even though libXaw.so.7->libXaw7.so.7 is clearly present, there's a complete suite of links for libXaw7, and, as far as I know, no other programs are having problems with this.hendrik at april:/usr/lib$ ls -l libXaw*lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 2006-06-15 11:33 libXaw3d.so.6 -> libXaw3d.so.6.1-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 367784 2006-05-03 07:20 libXaw3d.so.6.1lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 2006-09-20 11:39 libXaw7.so.7 -> libXaw7.so.7.0.0-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 440496 2006-08-27 19:51 libXaw7.so.7.0.0lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 2006-09-20 11:39 libXaw.so.7 -> libXaw7.so.7hendrik at april:/usr/lib$ So, since I run a pretty-well autoconfigured X installed from Debian-stable packages, and regularly updated, something must have gone wrong with one of the upgrades since the dawn of time. Or maybe Debian is just weird. I'll go on the Debian sites and try to identify the misbehaving package.Thanks.
