Last night I reactivated my own qemu-based VM and was able to checkout
and build some current CM3 stuff.

CVS behaves correctly there, and no need to adapt any of the shell
scripts at all. It's agonizingly slow though. And it has no remote
access.

However, building the release archives failed with two errors:

vbtkit:
new source -> compiling VBTKitResources.m3
  "..\src\lego\VBTKitResources.m3", line 10: unable to find interface  
(VBTKitBundle)
  1 error encountered

and

   errors during build-all; some packages will be missing
   m3-win/import-libs/NT386/.M3SHIP seems to be broken:

(wrong shippind destination, already reported)

I suggest we rather concentrate on these and build the Windows
packages manually.

I'm off to (paid) work again now...
