[M3devel] RC2 Release Engineering Status and Trac-king

My opinion on some of these:

cm3ide crash (NIL pointer?) #1002

probably fixed but needs retesting

m3tohtml crash

probably fixed but needs retesting

broken m3overrides

probably fixed but need to wait for Tinderbox to confirm
I can migrate more of them to the one master, but that's not required.
And there are some variations that need to be preserved, so it has to be all
human reviewed.

remove/simplify dynamic library version numbering?

Can be left alone.
I advocate removing the versions entirely.
However the "complexity" here is very hidden anyway.

m3gdb doesn't build on Darwin

I think we punt on this for this release.
Just update the distribution building to skip it.
I think the fix is probably to import Apple's fork.
I don't like it either, but it's probably the "best" way (short of
the unlikely Apple/FSF merge).

mentor startup crash on Darwin

PPC_DARWIN? All Darwin?
ie: What I reported?
Yes sounds bad.
Maybe the same thing as formsedit.
