[M3devel] thoughts on IA64?

Something's been nagging in my head a while -- I have two IA64 machines. Getting Linux running was easy.

  I should be able to run HP-UX, VMS, NT, and FreeBSD on it, but Linux at least.

I'd like to make that port soon. Held up mainly by the release and other ports.

I think it might raise some unique issues, with its two stacks, or it might be like Sparc?
