This is all on Windows/NT386, isn't it? Or on POSIX platforms, too?
I seem to remember that Juno always crashed on a PaintBrush operation
on Windows, while the various mentor applications crashed at
different points, but all relating to insufficient Trestle/Win
support.
On POSIX platforms both applications always ran OK AFAIR.

The same file name pattern for all files would help here.
