[M3devel] Juno on NT (presumably canary for other problems)

PPC_DARWIN 5.2.6 Juno on x86 sometimes hangs, sometimes runs out of stack.
Current LINUXLIBC6 Juno doesn't seem to ever hang.
So I conclude, with obvious non scientific firmness, that the Darwin-specific threading has never really worked and that the problem lies with it, not within the common code (or perhaps in the common code but only in how it mixes with the Darwin code).
