Comment:

  Solaris for x86 probably wouldn't be difficult to add, as both operating
  system specific
  code and processor specific code should already be there.

  None of the developers seems to have set up such a system yet though.

  For more than a short-time availability and from a release engineering
  point of
  view the acquiration of an appropriate build and test server (preferrably
  working
  as a Hudson slave) would be important. So if you or one of the cm3
  developers
  can arrange to place such a machine at Hudson's disposal (will generate
  some load
  now and then), that would be a great start.

  Jay Krell has a whole zoo of hardware/OS setup; I'm not sure if he's
  interested and
  willing to provide one more. But of course this request should not be
  restricted to
  his person, but to all who may be interested (CC'ed to m3devel for this
  purpose).

  A (virtual) machine with remote ssh access for an ordinary user should be
  all that
  is needed for a CM3 deveoper to add the target platform and for Hudson to
  run builds
  and tests.
