[M3devel] coverage of -O1, -O2, -O3, etc.?

Anyone have ideas on getting coverage of various switches?
Lately I use -O3 -Wuninitialized always.
But that isn't exhaustive and doesn't get coverage in Hudson. And it isn't cheap for me.

The "old" way was that I never used any optimization.
I'm very likely paying more time to run the optimizer than that the optimizer saves.
