"Word" is to INTEGER as what is to LONGINT?
 I don't think Long is a good answer.

 It is the current answer.

 

 

"Word" and "INTEGER" are not "related".

"Related" might be "UnsignedInteger" or "Integer" or "IntegerOps" or "SilentOverflowInteger"

 

 

I'm not proposing changing the name "Word".

But whatever is the LONGINT replacement...maybe "LongWord" or "UnsignedLong"?

 

 

I don't think "Long" is the correct answer.

 

 

Or does "word" not imply "unsigned" or "silent overflow", merely "integer sized"?
