[M3devel] gdb versions to merge m3gdb into

The following were recently posted on the gdb development mailing list.
If we go to all the work of merging a new gdb, it would be worth waiting
a bit if necessary, to get the very latest.  Otherwise, our m3gdb is
outdated before it even gets working.  I don't know more than this about
the schedule, but new release branches usually become releases fairly
quickly.  Both these were posted by Joel Brobecker<brobecker at adacore.com>,
on 07/07/2010.  I don't know what the relationship between 7.2 and 7.1.90
pre-releases is.

A quick message to announce that the GDB 7.2 branch has just been created.

The prerelease snapshots will be available at:

     ftp://sourceware.org/pub/gdb/snapshots/branch/gdb.tar.bz2

The sources are also accessible via CVS:

     cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs at sourceware.org:/cvs/src co -r gdb_7_2-branch gdb

This announcement has also been posted on the GDB web site at:

I have just finished creating the gdb-7.1.90 pre-release.
It is available for download at the following location:

     ftp://sourceware.org/pub/gdb/snapshots/branch/gdb-7.1.90.tar.bz2

A gzip'ed version is also available: gdb-7.1.90.tar.gz.

Please give it a test if you can and report any problems you might find.
