[M3devel] Solaris x86 support

This is the second request for CM3 on Solaris/x86.

I forwarded the first one to m3devel, but there has been no response
from any developer yet as far as I know.

As this is an open source project with volunteers working on the code,
there is no centrally controlled plan, and schedules often get updated;
however, I've added the request to the 5.9 milestone for the time being.

Let's see if anybody catches this one... please stay tuned :-)
