Hi all:
there seems to be a relation between Modula-3 GUI INTERFACE specification of a pen-handling UI that allowed to type letters from uni-strokes:
http://www.leagle.com/xmlResult.aspx?page=11&xmldoc=2001481198FSupp2d283_1453.xml&docbase=CSLWAR2-1986-2006&SizeDisp=7

3com argued that the Modula-3's XEROX Patent wasn't infringed since the OS hadn't specified that functionality but settled the case with a money deal and a 7-year peace deal over mutual patents from 3com:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2006_June_28/ai_n26909742/

Now that next year deal will be over they might be interested in pursuing another set of questions over XEROX's OS using Modula-3 code in ESC (because they would still need to proof full-integrity of Modula-3 ESC tool) and libraries use by XEROX OS:
http://www.google.com/patents/US5596656

I think we could ask if they want to litigate over the XEROX' OS again.
Thanks in advance
