[M3devel] Compiler upgrade broken in Hudson CI

I only just came around to have a look at the recent Hudson CI runs for
the cm3 compiler build. It seems that the upgrade path implemented in
scripts/upgrade.sh is broken now:

What has changed in the dependencies?
How to fix upgrade.sh?
