[M3devel] cvs commit damaging code? Re: [M3commit] CVS Update: cm3

What is happening here?  Every time I commit these two files, cvs inserts
a few opening comment delimiters without matching closing ones.  It does
this to my local copy, in addition to, as nearly as I can ascertain, the
checked-in copy.
