Yes it it will work.
%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE% is AMD64. That is the name of the architecture. Intel and AMD are roughly the same and there is nothing specific to either one here. Similarly we have AMD64_DARWIN, AMD64_LINUX, etc.
If you haven't updated to SP1, I have an experiment for you to try and report the results of.

Will this work on Intel 64-bit Win7, or just AMD?
I have a couple of Win7 machines, but none are AMD.
The one I using right now is Intel Core i5-2430 w/8GB RAM.

Folks please try it out?
I forgot..there is likely a bug on Windows 7 w/o SP1. I can fix it, but I don't have such a machine currently.
But Windows XP/amd64, Windows 7/SP1/amd64, Windows 8/amd64, Windows 8.1/amd64 are all likely good.
I only tested Windows 7/SP1.
