DEC SRC M3 3.6 was released circa 1996, maybe 1995.
m3-db\stable ?m3-db\stablegen (related) ?
C:\dev2\cm3\doc\help\bib.html(578):<LI><A NAME="StableTable">Allan Heydon</A>,C:\dev2\cm3\doc\help\bib.html(579):<A HREF="http://www.research.compaq.com/SRC/modula-3/html/tutorials/stabletable/index.html"C:\dev2\cm3\doc\help\bib.html(580):>Stabletable: An Example Client of the SmallDB Interface</A>,C:\dev2\cm3\doc\help\bib.html(597):<A HREF="http://www.research.compaq.com/SRC/modula-3/html/tutorials/stabletable/stabletable.tar.gz">gzipped tar archive</A>
I think this is it. The links are dead. I have some/all of the 3.6 release archives if needed (a hard drive is in questionable state, but I definitely have boot-linuxelf and m3.tar.bz2, m3cc.tar.bz2 (I "recode" all .gzs as smaller .bz2...))
