[M3devel] CVS deprecated info strings?

I'm just guessing, but this sounds more like a complaint from the perl 
scripts in the repository's CVSROOT directory.  Maybe somebody updated 
the perl installation on the repository host, deprecating some feature 
that the scripts use.
