Can folks humor me and decide on names for the following:
ALPHA_VMS or ALPHA_OPENVMS VMS is shorter
IA64_VMS or IA64_OPENVMS VMS is shorter
"Open" implies "Posix" as I understand
IA64_HPUX -- probably that is it
PA32_LINUX or PA or HPPA or HPPA32
PA64_LINUX or HPPA64
 gcc uses "hppa" and "hppa64".
ALPHA_TRU64 or ALPHA_OSF or ALPHA_OSF1?
  gcc seems to use "osf1"
MIPS32_IRIX probably right, new abi, ignore old abi
  or MIPSO32_IRIX
  or MIPSN32_IRIX ?
MIPS64_IRIX probably right
PPC32_AIX probably right
PPC64_AIX probably right
ARM_LINUX_UCLIBC?
ARM_LINUX24?
  ARM_LINUX_USERTHREADS?
?
Eventually I'd like to get to these, as long gcc supports them, unless I get a C backend working and porting work therefore declines.
I have already run some of these OSes recently: AIX, Irix, Linux/hppa.
Nothing on Alpha yet, nor VMS.
Thanks,
 - Jay
