[M3devel] more Hudson nodes? more help in general?

Virtualization works great for x86, AMD64. Less so for others.
There is "gxemul" but it is less widely used, probably harder to use, I haven't tried it yet. It might work for MIPS esp.
There was a project to remove the assembly code from Sun's Java. As a result, Java is well available on any architecture on Linux.
e.g. we have Linux/powerpc, Linux/sparc, and I expect we'll soon have Linux/mips, in Hudson.
But so far it is Linux-only where this work can be used, as far as I know.
I was thinking we could move the Elego NT386 VM. Probably should run sysprep /generalize on it first.

Sparc, PowerPC do have some sorts of virtualization, but it is kind of more esoteric and I suspect harder to use.
  e.g. on Solaris, on AIX.

I hadn't heard of SimOS and maybe others. More research to do..

Thanks,
 - Jay

Tere is one in aprticular probably useful for the Irix the SimOS, which run natevely in the IRIX and others now, also other platforms like DEC Alpha and power PC.
