[M3devel] Support for UTF-8 and email protocols

Hi,

sorry if I asked this question before, but it went unanswered and I really need to know.

Are there available libraries that support:

1) UTF-8 text

2) email protocols (SMTP and POP3) -- I need client-side support ONLY.

(These two functionalities are distinct, of course.)
