[M3devel] how far to reduce Target.i3/.m3? var/const/gone?

As I remove Target variation:

1) Just assign the variables all the same in Target.i3/Target.m3?2) Change them to constants in Target.i3?3) Remove them entirely in Target and m3front?

i.e. Do you think anyone will ever go back and re-diverge?And need a super local handy guide?Or can go back into history or figure it out anew?
