[M3devel] environment variables..?

for example, currently:
export CM3_GCC_BACKEND=yesexport CM3_OSTYPE=POSIXexport CM3_TARGET=NT386export OMIT_GCC=yesexport CM3_ROOT=/dev2/cm3.2export CM3_INSTALL=/cm3export M3CONFIG=/dev2/cm3.2/m3-sys/cminstall/src/config/NT386GNU
 
I propose that CM3_OMIT_GCC and CM3_CONFIG be supported. ?
Support for M3CONFIG and OMIT_GCC shall remain for compatibility, reluctantly.
 
OMIT_GCC is strictly a "scripts" thing.
M3CONFIG is a cm3 thing.
 
I would grant that M3CONFIG isn't terrible, on the theory that really cm3==m3.
 
Anyway, I'm off to do more important stuff probably. :)
(such as investigating test failures)
