In the meantime I have updated my core system on Windows (m3-sys and
m3-libs and performed scripts/upgrade.sh) and rebuilt all the GUI
sources (they were already up-to-date). Now I can reproduce the problem.
So something must definitely been broken in the recent months.

Of course I saved all the old sources and binaries before, so I am now
able to compare them. There have been quite a lot of changes though,
so it may take a while. I don't think it is necessary that you send
me your sources now. I'll let you know what I find.
