[M3devel] need help with cm3 problem before I deliver software this week

After I first had problems to reproduce the problem, I now seem unable
to make it disappear again. I saved all sources and executables
(cm3 installation, m3-libs, m3-sys) before I did a cvs update and
upgrade on them (after which the problem showed up), but moving back
the old sources and compiler produces the same failure still.

I'm at a complete loss right now. Perhaps we really need to compare
the linked objects in both the working and broken executable after all :-/
I seem unable to narrow down the faulting component.

Perhaps I need something to eat and then some sleep...
