[M3devel] INSTALL_ROOT and PKG_USE in cm3.cfg

Is it usable?buildable? I don't think so but I am curious. Maybe research later, but there are way more pressing matters...

I'm fine either way. I think I've said more than my piece, many times over. :)
Very cathartic, and less damaging than doing anything to the code. :)

Yes yes, I know the names but I don't know what others would know.

And I know renaming makes tracking history hard, depending on source control, but pretty much no matter what.
This is a huge reason not to rename. History can be super valuable.
That's why I took forever to get over the hump and push all the NT386 content into NT386.Common instead of doing it a bit earlier, and I'm still not sure it was a good idea. The code is highly shared though. Perhaps it should be smushed all into NT386 in the source tree and three variants extracted in the build. NT386 seems to have the fewest people that give a damn so...
