I should definitely get the changed version, to avoid wasting time.
I just tried downloading and installing cvsup-snap-16.1h.tar.gz on an
x86 Debian system. It seems to run into trouble because it duplicates
code in cm3 itself:

hendrik at lovesong:~/dv/cvsup/cvsup-snap-16.1h$ make
make[1]: Entering directory `/farhome/hendrik/dv/cvsup/cvsup-snap-16.1h'
--- building in LINUXLIBC6 ---

===> suptcp
make[2]: Entering directory
`/farhome/hendrik/dv/cvsup/cvsup-snap-16.1h/suptcp'
cm3
--- building in LINUXLIBC6 ---

Fatal Error: duplicate unit: /usr/local/cm3/pkg/tcp/src/POSIX/SockOpt.i3
../src/POSIX/SockOpt.i3
